1. Overview
MotionFlow (“we”, “the app”) is a fitness application that helps you create custom exercises and count repetitions using on-device pose estimation. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
2. Camera, pose, and face-related data
When you create an exercise or start a workout, MotionFlow may access the camera (with your permission) to detect body pose and count reps. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload workout camera frames or pose data to our servers to use core counting features.
What is processed: temporary camera frames used to estimate body pose landmarks (for example shoulders, hips, knees, and related joints). The face may appear in the camera frame as part of a full-body view. We do not collect facial recognition biometrics, face templates for identity matching, or emotion analysis. We do not use face data for authentication or advertising profiling.
Use: only to create exercise templates, count repetitions during workouts, show optional on-screen pose guidance, and (if you choose) save reference clips or exports on your device.
Sharing: pose/camera workout data is not shared with third-party AI cloud services. Processing runs on-device using the device’s local machine-learning libraries.
Storage and retention: temporary frames used for live counting are not kept as a cloud archive. Exercise templates, related pose sequences, and optional reference media you create are stored locally on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app (subject to OS behavior).
Deletion: delete an exercise in the app to remove its local template and related media, or uninstall MotionFlow to remove local app data.
3. No third-party AI cloud services for workouts
MotionFlow does not send your camera frames, pose landmarks, workout videos, or training history to a third-party AI service (such as a generative AI API) for analysis. Pose estimation for counting runs offline on your device.
4. Workout data stored on your device
Exercise templates, rep counts, training plans, achievements, and related settings are stored locally on your phone. You can delete an exercise or related data from within the app. Uninstalling the app typically removes locally stored app data according to your device OS behavior.
5. Account
Core training features do not require creating an account with us. If you use optional purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play, those transactions are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Advertising and Google tracking technologies
MotionFlow may display advertisements provided by Google (including Google Mobile Ads / AdMob). Google and its partners may collect or receive information such as advertising identifiers (for example IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android), IP address, device type, app interactions related to ads, and similar technical data to deliver, measure, and improve ads, detect fraud, and comply with applicable laws. Advertising is separate from workout pose processing and is not used to send your exercise camera frames to an AI service.
This advertising data may be processed by Google according to Google’s Privacy Policy and advertising policies. Depending on your region and device settings, you may be able to reset or limit ad personalization (for example via iOS App Tracking Transparency prompts, Android advertising settings, or Google’s ad settings). Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling personalized advertising.
7. Analytics and diagnostics
We may use platform services (including Google advertising / measurement tools) to understand ad performance and basic app reliability. These services may process device and usage signals as described above. We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product.
8. Permissions
Depending on features you use, the app may request camera access (pose tracking and recording guides), and on some platforms microphone or photo library access if you export or save media. You can deny or revoke permissions in system settings; some features will not work without the related permission.
9. Children’s privacy
MotionFlow is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app in a way that violates this policy, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International users
If you use advertising or store services, your information may be processed in countries where Google, Apple, or their partners operate. Those providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
